I've always wanted to try this place out and burger week gave us that motivation. This place has great service and their burger was one of my top fav burgers from burger week (out of the 10 burgers I've tried so far). The Cuban Frita burger was not too heavy and I liked the flavor of their sauce. It is also interesting they chose to do a beef vs pork chorizo (wife doesn't like pork) and it worked well. This place feel upscale and nice. It seems like it would be a good place to take a date. Definitely try their burger week burger!

I came here for breakfast with family but lunch starts at 11am so we sat and had an excellent lunch. Everything our party ordered was delicious from the salads, avocado toast with salmon, and the B.L.A.T.. I happened to order the mixed greens salad with tomatoes, paper thin sliced radishes and carrot slivers and a presliced grilled chicken breast . . I've never had a better salad. Our server was excellebt and I highly recommend this place.

I was spending a couple days in SLO and had been eating and drinking my way through the town. I was really wanting an elevated meal so when I saw a server in a really chic uniform/apron I asked where she was coming from, and I am so glad I did. My only regret was not having a large enough stomach or a friend to share more food with. I started with the hamachi crudo and when I say I almost picked up the bowl to drink the juice I am not joking. I asked for a spoon and demolished what was left. I also got the beet & burrata dish which was fantastic. The crushed pistachio paste on the bottom was out of this world. I cannot wait to go back on my next visit to SLO!

Finch & Fork is a gem within a gem, hidden in plain site in the heart of downtown. Many may be quick to dismiss hotel restaurants but THIS is the exception. The Canary is an epic hotel packed with design character and topped off with a beautiful rooftop. My recommendation is to come here for a special occasion weekend brunch. Look out the big windows as musicians play at the farmers market and enjoy a mimosa (they are one of the few places with bottomless). I have a special place in my heart for eggs benedict and appreciate that their bread is not soggy and the egg is prepared exactly as expected - timing is everything!

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at this wonderful restaurant that is attached to the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara. Our hotel stay at the Canary was comfortable & flawless. I have to say the Buffet spread was upscale & magnificent. Huge variety of delicious choices from salads, seafood, vast assortment of sides plus a carving station featuring roast Turkey and perfectly cooked prime rib all expertly sliced to your order. An amazing desert table that had all imaginable sorts of pies, cakes and puddings. With so many hungry diners the staff was extremely proficient in maintaining attentive table service coming just in time to clear plates and fill water glasses. This is a spectacular Thanksgiving feast that we all will not forget for a long time. High praise.
